Much to Harry Potter’s dismay, he was not allowed to fight Lord Voldemort during his last year at Hogwarts.. Professor McGonagall, now headmistress at Hogwarts School for Witch Craft and Wizardry had made Harry promise. Along with Ron and Hermione. They all promised. Their promises cost the lives of many people.
The Ministry of Magic had struck an absolute no tolerance policy to any people suspected of being Death Eaters. In the summer of ‘96 Lucius Malfoy was killed in cold blood in a ministry raid by none other than Percy Weasley and a gang of aurors, Lucius’ death was shortly followed by his own wife’s. Percy had gone mad with power; serious promotion in the ministry had driven him down the path of Barty Crouch. The Malfoy’s son however managed to escape, only by the help of his aunt Bellatrix.
Through the whole of the trios last year at school, mysterious deaths had occurred. Families suspected of alliance with Voldemort were being killed off, yet their children were spared.
June 1997. Harry graduates. He learns that Severus Snape is innocent. Harry is given a letter written by Professor Dumbledore shortly before his death. It explains that he must go with Snape to find the last of the Horcruxes no matter of what feelings Harry has toward Snape. Professor Dumbledore also goes onto explain to Harry that he was dying. His time was steadily running thin, he knew of what Draco had to do, and the promise Snape made to Narcissa. But it was obvious Draco was not in any fit state to carry out this task, and so Dumbledore asked Snape to kill him. It was not murder. Snapes name was cleared, and there was written proof. But sadly, Snape was still a grumpy old thingyhead who seemed to despise Harry. Yet they worked hard to find the last Horcruxes. After a year, they had done it. Harry had to work far away from his friends, his family. So much had changed in a year, without hearing the news. In their seventh year, Ron and Hermione had finally gotten together and now were planning to get married after they defeat Voldemort. After Harry had finally caught up with the news, it was found that Percy Weasley had been tortured to death by Bellatrix Lestrange to get revenge for her sister. Pansy Parkinson was found dead at the Malfoy Manor.
It wasn’t soon before the final battle was to take place. It was now 1999 and Voldemort’s rein of terror was now to end. Along with the ministry’s. The death eaters that were left heard of this news and swamped the Weasley household. The battle had begun, Arthur Weasley died protecting Molly, who was the secret keeper of The Order of the Phoenix. Fleur also gave her life for her mother in law, who was able to keep Molly from being tortured.
The Order of the Phoenix found where Voldemort was hidden, the Riddle house of course. One last furious battle broke out, Hermione lost her life. Harry and Voldemort at last came face to face. Harry used the killing curse before Voldemort managed to. And yet, they both died. Each of their bodies was slumped on the ground of the dining room. You see, Harry, was as much a part of Voldemort as Voldemort was as much a part of him. They were each others life support. Almost like parasitic twins.
The day that Harry potter, the boy who lived was announced dead, along with Lord Voldemort, was the lowest, most victorious day for the wizarding world.
Life went on. The Ministry calmed down, and made a public apology. Of course the children of the murdered death eaters did not take it well at all; vengeance was to be had in time.
Professor Trelawney, now still working as the divination teacher at Hogwarts had a vision. A real vision. Possibly one of the only real visions she had actually encountered. A new dark era was stirring in the mind of a mysterious figure, one who would be able to control the power which Voldemort could never achieve. Of course nobody took notice of the old fraud.
All became quiet in the wizarding world. Fourteen years after the death of Voldemort and Harry potter, wizards and witches alike could finally sleep at night. Upon the death of the Dark Lord, the dark marks on the arms of his numerous living Death Eaters turned black as coal, signalling that their reign under him was over. However, months ago, strange things started happening. Odd deaths and disappearances, and the dark marks appearing again. No one will dare utter what they think about the incident out of fear it will only fuel the evil that's rising again. Harry Potter killed Voldemort, so how could the Dark Lord rise again? There is no cure for death, and one cannot be brought back from the dead. Now there is to be a new dark lord on the rise, everyone is at a stand still, the calm before the storm.
Little did the rest of the Wizarding world know that Voldemorts power was reserved by a small group of ever faithful death eaters, his heir was to carry on his work. When the time was right, and his heir was old enough. Now that the ignored prophecy of a new Dark Lord has come true, the heir of Voldemort must rise as The New Dark Lord and keep her identity a secret in order to bring the wizarding world to its knees.
